Tuina massage - getting healthy with gentle methods

Tuina massage is related to acupuncture. It helps "without needles" with complaints of the musculoskeletal system, in preparing for and helping with childbirth, with nervous disorders and also in sports and rehabilitation medicine. The energy nodes used in acupuncture are tapped, vibrated or shaken with the hands. These impulses strengthen blood circulation and the flow of energy, as the energy pathways, the meridians, are reactivated alongside the muscles, connective tissue and joints. Cupping - heat as a path to well-being

Cupping, an alternative or supplement to acupuncture, promotes the flow of Qi, the flow of life force. The method used is very simple: the air in a cupping ball - a small round open glass - is briefly heated. Your doctor then places the heated cupping ball on certain points of the body. As the cupping ball cools down, a vacuum is created which "pulls" the skin slightly into the inside of the ball. Local congestion of the Qi - and this also applies to the blood flow - is thus released and the self-healing powers are strengthened. This ultimately leads to better resistance.

Moxibustion - healing fragrance

Traditional Chinese medicine recommends moxibustion for patients with a cold or stagnant heat condition. A moxa stick made from medicinal herbs is lit. The stick is then attached to an acupuncture needle or held by hand near the meridian point. Special heat lamps are also used instead of moxa sticks. As a patient, you experience a pleasant feeling of warmth that gets under your skin. Either way, cold is dispelled and the warming of the meridians leads to an improved flow of blood and Qi. Moxibustion offers good chances of success in correcting the baby's breech positions in the womb.

Even in the West, it is now known that our ears are closely interwoven with the whole body via the nerve tracts and the brain. The fact is that there are up to 200 acupuncture points on the outer auricle - and each needle inserted here triggers electrical impulses that reach the relevant area of the human body at lightning speed, for example the knee, hip or shoulder, liver, heart, kidneys and so on.
