A Lausanne-based company with over 45 years of experience in consulting and supplying office furniture, ROJATEC SA has evolved and innovated throughout its history
A diverse and loyal customer base
Our development has been built on the trust of a large number of customers in fields as varied as real estate, finance (banks, fiduciaries), tourist offices, public authorities (municipal and cantonal), and numerous SMEs.
A story that began at Place Chauderon in Lausanne
It was in Lausanne in 1976 that Roland Jaquier, then a partner in the large stationery company Pacola SA, had the idea of founding his own company in the field of furniture, office equipment, and technical items such as drawing boards. From this idea came the name ROland JAquier TEChnique, or ROJATEC.
From a space of around 68 m² at Place Chauderon in Lausanne, the company expanded and moved first to 500 m² at Maupas 34 in Lausanne, before finally settling in Jouxtens-Mézery in 2005.
Swiss and imported products
A pioneer in the import of foreign furniture, our company has worked closely with European manufacturers and renowned Swiss manufacturers since its inception.

STRETCHING AT WORK FOR BETTER COMFORT
FOR BETTER COMFORT AT YOUR WORKPLACE
A FEW REGULAR STRETCHES AT THE COMPUTER AND AT YOUR WORKSTATION
CAN RELIEVE YOUR TENSION (Approximately 4 minutes)
http://www.travailsecuritairenb.ca/docs/officefrdist.pdf
Sitting at a computer for long periods of time often causes stiffness in the neck and shoulders and can occasionally cause lower back pain. Do the stretches shown below about once an hour throughout the day or whenever you feel stiff. Make a photocopy of this page and keep it handy. Also, be sure to get up and walk around the office whenever you think of it. You'll feel better!
The triple dynamics of sitting
Standing upright has allowed humans to make greater use of their arms and hands to perform complex and varied tasks. The transition from quadrupedal to bipedal locomotion was therefore
accompanied by a complete reorganization of the body's static phenomena.
A sophisticated and perfectly coordinated dynamic system of support and maintenance, as well as targeted movements and counter-movements
ensure our balance. This highly precise mechanism is all the more sensitive to the slightest malfunction.
Postures adopted out of habit or movements repeated over and over again eventually cause bodily imbalance and subject our bodies to severe strain.
Possible consequences include
back spasms, muscle cramps, or joint pain.
The onset of these symptoms prevents us from concentrating on our work and thinking effectively. Movement
thrives on change.
For healthy sitting and dynamic thinking, it is therefore recommended to move around and change position regularly. Only a chair with the right features can
able to provide a satisfactory solution.
As an alternative to standing, sitting primarily helps to relieve the body, particularly the spine, muscles, and circulatory system. However, the advantages and
disadvantages of sitting cannot be clearly determined, however, as they depend mainly on:
WALDMANN BIODYNAMIC LIGHTING FOR BETTER WORKING
PULSE VTL
BIODYNAMIC LIGHTING FOR BETTER WORKING
PULSE VTL (Visual Timing Light) brings the dynamics of natural daylight into buildings, emphasizing the emotional and ergonomic aspects of lighting quality. Biodynamic lighting can sustainably improve the well-being of employees working in offices with little daylight, as well as during the winter months when the internal clock has difficulty synchronizing with daylight.
Morning
In the morning, the body produces the hormone cortisol. This hormone stimulates the metabolism and programs the body for daytime activity. The first rays of morning light stop the production of melatonin, the sleep hormone. At the start of work, PULSE VTL supports the activity of the stress hormone cortisol with stimulating cool light and high light intensity.
Midday
Cortisol gradually decreases throughout the day. At noon, workers are still performing well. PULSE VTL should therefore continue to emit mainly cool, stimulating light.
Afternoon
In the afternoon, cortisol production in the body has decreased significantly and the active work phase is coming to an end. PULSE VTL supports this transitional period with a neutral mix of warm and cool light. The light intensity is gradually reduced.
Evening
The hormone melatonin causes fatigue, slows down bodily functions, and lowers activity levels in preparation for nighttime rest. If the body is exposed to biodynamic lighting during the day, melatonin levels will be high during the night. The person will sleep well, feel rested, and be active and productive again the next day. PULSE VTL accompanies the transition to the rest phase with a decrease in brightness and warm, relaxing light.
