Our background

On July 1, 1981, the sole proprietorship Sepp Wagner "Spenglerarbeiten und Kupferschmiede" was founded. The workshop was set up in an old, rented garage building in Kernmatt in Kägiswil. The newly formed company employed one person from the fall of 1981 and was able to count on the help of temporary employees.

In the fall of 1987, work began on the new workshop building on Kägiswilerstrasse. The new workshop building was fitted out and the machinery moved to the new location in January 1988.

Another step taken by the company was the incorporation of the roofing trade and the recruitment of an experienced roofer. The number of employees grew steadily during this period. There were already 5 employees on the payroll.

The Sepp Wagner company also endeavored to give young people the chance to learn a very interesting and varied trade in their own village. So far, a total of 5 apprentices have successfully completed their vocational training.

In 1995, after careful consideration, the sole proprietorship "Sepp Wagner" was transformed into "Sepp Wagner GmbH"

Sepp Wagner GmbH took a big step towards the future when it was allowed to move into the newly constructed commercial building in Industrie Sand in Kerns in spring 2013.
