Architect with a degree from EPFL in 1999, Kimio Fukami has been working in the field of architecture for over 25 years. He has been a member of the SIA (society of engineers and architects) since early 2016.

After a career as a project manager in Lausanne offices and then as a group manager in the UNIL building department, in 2015 he founded the Kimio Fukami Architecte studio in Lausanne. He has been devoting 100% of his time to it since January 1, 2018. On March 16, 2018, the company became a limited liability company. His versatile profile, in both project and realization phases, enables him to follow all the stages of a project.

The KFA studio regularly collaborates with other architectural studios, whether for competitions, project or realization phases.

The studio is active in the fields of architecture, interior architecture, renovation, rehabilitation and urban planning (architectural competitions, feasibility studies, projects and realizations).

The approach is identical for both large- and small-scale projects:

- analysis of constraints and issues

- matching program/site and existing

- formalization of the project

The result must be the right balance between users' needs, financial possibilities and the highest architectural quality that can be offered.

There are no small projects....there are projects.
