Our association makes its expertise and professionals available to local authorities and private companies in the field of sheltered housing, through the presence of social workers at dedicated sites or support for construction projects.

Supportive supervision in sheltered housing

In collaboration with sheltered housing operators, the association provides social workers who maintain a personal connection with tenants, enabling them to live independently, integrated, and secure in terms of social and health issues.

Role of Pro Senectute Vaud

The association is involved in structures in which:

• Residents enjoy private living space in apartments, while also having access to communal areas.
   
• The housing contract includes services related to safety and security and the use of community facilities.
   
• An allocation committee decides on applications to rent accommodation, based on predefined criteria. It also deals with situations where tenants move out.
