Why a short stay?
The purpose of short stays is to encourage and prolong home care for elderly people who are temporarily frail by offering them the option of a few weeks' care in a safe environment. This service is part of Vaud's health policy and is covered by an agreement with the Directorate General for Social Cohesion (DGCS).
