La Ferme du Lignon is an urban farm located in Le Lignon, Geneva, producing eggs from 900 free-range Lohman hens. Taken over by Claude Meyer in 2012, the farm prioritizes exceptional animal welfare with hens raised outdoors and fed primarily on grain without stimulants or animal flour. The farm is GRTA certified (Genève Région Terre Avenir), ensuring quality, proximity, traceability, and fairness. Eggs reach customers within 4 days of laying with no intermediaries. The farm also produces vegetables and wine, offers guest rooms, and provides event spaces for seminars, weddings, and banquets. Educational farm visits are available.
