When it comes to food and drink, we all agree: we like it good and unaffected. Products with character are our passion and we have gathered a lot of them from all over Europe.
We know no boundaries when it comes to classic wines!
SCALA VINI became known 30 years ago for wines from Italy and later Austria. However, we have never lost sight of the classic wine regions and have enjoyed drinking beyond the borders of the two countries. This has also been reflected a few times in the range - first with great sweet wines and now also with white wines from Istvan Szespy from Tokay (Hungary), and for a few years now with a Rioja that we liked and which now also has a permanent place in the range. This made us bolder, and so we added wines from other regions, mostly absolute gems and wines that we simply love. In our S factory ("Ess-Fabrik") in Leissigen, we store the goods that we consider to be genuine and consistent. We sell them on the market, over the counter and directly to our customers in the catering trade. We also focus on our own pasta production and our winery in northern Piedmont. In the meantime, we're getting closer to those who produce something exceptionally good. We are on the trail of the gourmet mafia - we know who is pulling the strings and where. We are interested in this network of purists and what it produces makes us happy.
