The triplex joinery is a collective company that offers individual solutions in the areas of kitchens, furniture and interior fittings. Bernhard Roth, Volker Schreiber and Michael Wyssmann have been producing according to ecological criteria in all areas of their craft for over 30 years now. Furniture is their passion.

In addition to the partners, the company currently employs four carpenters. We also have one female and one male apprentice.

On the one hand, triplex sees itself as a classic joinery (furniture, interior fittings, fixtures). The main focus is on solid wood furniture, interior fittings, joinery work and repairs. They specialize in acoustic construction (Radio DRS and other studio operators, corporate and private clients) and exhibition construction (Museum.BL, Museum Bellerive, Basel Historical Museum, Basel Paper Mill, ETH, Forbo, Museum Schloss Oberhofen, Olten Historical Museum,...). 

On the other hand they develop and design their own products such as tables, chairs, beds, kitchens, etc., which they present at exhibitions: MUBA and OFFA (with FormForum), in&out, Z-Art, Artichoses, Handwerkkunst, Blickfang Basel and Zurich, Ornaris Zurich and Bern and various others.

Responsible action is part of the design process for them.

Longevity, careful use of raw materials, ecological production, short transportation routes and easy disposal are the criteria for the production of their products.

For this reason, surfaces are finished with natural resin oils, for example. The large solid wood warehouse contains up to 20 types of wood. Wherever possible, these come directly from the forests and fields of the region.
