Butcher Shop Femminis was founded in 1976 by Vittorio Femminis in Cevio in the Maggia Valley.
It then moved to Cavergno in 1982.
The management of the business was later taken over by his son Stefano in 2001 and 
after a decade of management continued its operations in Locarno in Piazza Sant'Antonio at the former Macelleria Fiori SA where it still resides.
