A story of passion and great attention to quality. A story full of fine wines, love for traditions and carefully driven innovation. A story that takes place thanks to Angelo Delea, who is still in charge with the same passion and devotion, together with his two sons David e Cesare.

Everything starts in Losone, in the heart of the region Ticino, in 1983. It is just thanks to this region, with its mild weahter, its rich land and the astonishing fruits, that we can create and produce the finest bottles of wine.

During these years the company, Vini & Distillati Delea, has incredibily evolved while maintaining the highest quality levels, as evidenced by the numerous awards and tributes. Nowaday it looks like a spectacular brand new company that can count on a team of over 40 people.

To create the finest wines as the Diamond, Merlot Carato, the Carato Reserve, the Carato Bianco, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, the Apocalisse, the Chiar di Luna e the Spumanti Charme Charme Rosé and Noir are necessary well 20 hectares of grown vines and 200 farmers that ensure a production of 600,000 bottles per year. Our goal is to provide you at every sip an exciting,unique and engaging experience.

The friendliness of the company and the constance attendance of Angelo, David e Cesare have made possible the introduction of guided tour throughout the winery that comprises also the Enoteca, the distillery and vinegar factory.

Vini e Distillati Angelo Delea is one of the most quoted reality throughout the Ticino and the whole Switzerland and, likewise, has selected its resellers: companies that can give the same emotions exactly as we would do it.

Cantina di Losone (Losone's Winery)

Big arches and soft lighting are there, just to leave the wine rest better and the amazing smell of must goes around. This is what you can feel by entering the "Antica Cantina" in Losone.  A unique environment, planned in every details: 8 meters underground and 2 meters above the arches, that provide an ideal room temperature (13-14 degrees) and a costant level of humidity throughout the year: the ideal conditions for the wine aging in barriques.

At our winery in Losone you can reserve the following packages:

• Guided tour at the Delea winery (price CHF 35.- p.p.), which includes: the wine cellar, the Barricaia, the Museum, the vinegar factory for the production of 'Aceto Balsamico and the new distillery, for a total time of about 2 hours.
• Special Visit, customized to your needs. Possible dinner at Bottega del Vino Restaurant in Locarno.

It cover an area of almost 280 and its original and cozy furniture will make you feel home, immediately. La Bottega del Vino di Locarno is the place where we strive to enhance and maintain the great tradition of high quality food and high quality wines. Actually, besides the wide range of wine, the excellent grape spirit (grappa) and the superb vinegar, you will have the opportunity to taste the astonishing dishes.

Entering Fattoria Amorosa is like entering a dream. Up on a little hill and surrounded by olives tree and a big vineyard, it offers a stunning view, fine wines from Delea, and delightful dishes inspired by the best tradition.
In addition to that, there is the possibility to stay for the night as Fattoria Amorosa has also some nice rooms, well furnished and comfortable.

The Vineyard

Thousand of plants selected, accurately chosen and planted that every year, that amazingly, became golden and juicy fruit. And, after that wine, grape spirit and vinegar thanks to the experience and skills of Angelo Delea. The biggest amount of our production is based on local wine: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Semillon as whites, and Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon as reds.

The Fermentation

For us, the simple mechanical process of fermentation has became more a matter of passion and art. We leave the wine breathe and rest, in the right environment and with the best barrels, just to obtain the perfect aging. Nonetheless, technology and carefully selected innovation, help us bringing you a great high quality product.
