The Ticino section, with its approximately 10,000 members, is currently the fourth largest in Switzerland as far as the Swiss Automobile Club is concerned. It works hard to protect the interests of motorists on the institutional level and is involved in everything related to mobility: from roadside assistance to training, from safety to motor sports. 

Offices are located in the historic building at 5 Via Trevani in Locarno, management, the hub of activities affecting members and the headquarters of the travel agency. However, the ACS is also present in Lugano, at 1 Via Dufour, where it plays an important administrative role, especially in relation to ticketing, event planning and cross-border relations (setting up carnet de passage, selling viacards for Italian highways, Area C, etc.).

• Rescue service, trip cancellation insurance and legal protection
  There are six types of memberships: "Light," "Classic," "Travel," "Classic + Travel," "Premium" and "Companies." Our solutions, especially for family units, are the most affordable in Switzerland. Our roadside assistance, among the best.

• Medical Assistance
  The ACS Medical Hotline accompanies our members wherever they are, 24/7. Just call nr. +41 31 337 06 77.

  In addition to getting attractive discounts at member companies and benefiting from attractive promotions (e.g., fuel discounts at Migrol and Agip) you can richedere the VISA Card   Classic included with ACS membership.

  At our branches in Locarno and Lugano you will find highway vignettes for Switzerland and Austria.

  We offer 25 or 50 euro viacards for quick and convenient passage to toll booths as well as tickets for Area C in Milan.

  With the "Carnet de passage" you can cross the border with a vehicle without license plates. We also prepare international driving licenses and proxies for vehicles registered in Switzerland.
   
• Safety and Training
  In our shop, in addition to indispensable gadgets for your travels (reflective vest, first-aid kit, etc.), the course dedicated to the theoretical driving test awaits you.
   
• Two-step driver's license
  In cooperation with our partners "Safe Driving SA" in Osogna and "APDC", we offer attractive discounts on both courses.
