The pharmacy was established in 1985 on the initiative of pharmacist Isabella Sollberger.

In 2015, the pharmacy moved to its current premises, a large and bright space with no architectural barriers. The pharmacy is located in a shopping center easily accessible by public transportation where there are Migros, Coop, a doctor's office, dentist, bank, post office and various other businesses. The center also has plenty of parking spaces.

The owner pharmacist, associate pharmacists, and assistants offer clients attentive and competent advice, ranging from traditional medicine to various fields of alternative medicine. The customer and his or her requests are at the center of our work, and we strive to offer each of them the appropriate solution.

The Maggia Pharmacy has obtained the ISO 9001 QMS Pharma certification as recognition of work that meets specific quality criteria.
