Welcome to Coiffure Kotas - your hairdresser in Meilen! In our spacious hairdressing salon with eight seats and a view of Lake Zurich, we offer top value for money. We specialize in haircuts of all kinds. Of course, colors and permanent waves are also part of our offer.

Our fast and yet precise way of working sets us apart. We have been able to pass on our comprehensive expert knowledge to around 40 apprentices so far.

History and team

Hans Kotas, a qualified hairdresser from Vienna, opened the business in 1953. In 1978, his son Alexander Kotas, a qualified hairdresser since 1980, took over the hairdressing salon and still runs it together with his wife today.

We don't offer updos and hairstyles, but we do offer dance classes so that you can shine at your wedding. Alexander Kotas has been a dance teacher at the Migros Club Schools for almost 40 years and teaches Latin and standard dances.

We specialize in haircuts of all kinds. Whether ladies, children or men - we provide a hairstyle that suits you. We also master the Sassoon technique according to Vidal Sassoon, a very precise and accurate cutting technique.

Would you like a new hair color? We can give you a new look with mèche or colorations. Colors without ammonia are also available on request. Here we work with EOS plant-based color from Wella or purely plant-based henna without artificial additives for particularly sensitive scalps.

We rely on products from L'Oréal Paris for color and care products and work with products from Goldwell for perms.
