Founded in 1882 by our ancestor François Saillet, who came down from St-André-sur-Boëge (Haute-Savoie) to revive an abandoned forge at Carre d'Aval, commune of Meinier, GE. His son Louis continued to work as a blacksmith, and in the early 50s, his children Marc and Henri began selling and repairing agricultural machinery. Today, Henri's sons André and Roger run the family business.
