Grize Haustechnik can look back on over a hundred years of history. In 1901, Johann Burkhalter founded a plumbing and tinsmithing business in Muri near Bern. The business remained in the Burkhalter family for several generations. It was taken over by Charles H. Grize in 1985 and changed its name from Burkhalter & Co AG to Grize AG in 1989.

The company then continued to develop. In 1998, the plumbing, heating and pipeline construction divisions were transformed into independent public limited companies, with the managing directors participating at the same time. With this new structure, the three companies are still operating successfully on the market today.

We are firmly anchored in the municipality of Muri/ Gümligen and the region and are committed to our long company tradition. We currently employ around 25 people and are training two apprentices. The joy of craftsmanship and the satisfaction of our customers motivate us to give our best every day.
