Medizinische Massage Nidau – Contacts & Location
Description
Bringing body, mind and soul into harmony is not so easy in our stressful everyday lives.
Our performance is limited by stress, wear and tear and pain.
With my treatment methods, I activate your self-healing powers.
Fascia techniques
Fasciae are a three-dimensional system of connective tissue that runs through our body, enveloping every single structure. They envelop muscle fibers, muscle bundles, muscles, nerves, vessels and organs
After a period of immobilization or inflammation, fasciae can become matted and stick together and thus lose their ability to glide.
Fascia techniques include myofascial release, FDM (fascial distortion model) and systemic scar therapy according to Beoger.
All methods aim to make the enveloping fasciae supple and slippery, elastic and resistant at the same time.
Fascia techniques are integrated into the treatment if necessary.
Classical massage
Classical massage involves various manual techniques that use pressure, traction and stretching stimuli to influence the musculoskeletal system (muscles, skin, tendons, bones and joints). By relaxing the muscles, blood circulation and the entire metabolism are stimulated, adhesions in the skin layers are loosened and the immune system is strengthened.
Classical massage is used to treat disorders of the musculoskeletal system as well as to prevent such complaints. Massage has a positive effect on blood circulation, breathing and the digestive system, thereby promoting relaxation. The mere touch of the hand triggers reactions in the body that have an effect both locally and on the whole body.Classical massage can also be used in combination with other forms of therapy (trigger point therapy, myofascial techniques, etc.)
Medical massage
This is a collective term used to describe various treatment techniques in the field of massage. It is understood to mean that the massage treatment is tailored to the specific needs of the customer.
According to the clinical picture, we will develop a treatment plan together and select the respective massage technique. Combinations are also possible.
Sports massage
The sports massage is a variation of the classic massage. It plays an important role in preparation for training and competition or following physical exertion to restore performance. The massage techniques are individually tailored to the athlete (stimulation, regeneration, relaxation, injury prevention).
Foot reflexology
Foot reflexology is a form of treatment that has evolved over many years from ancient folk knowledge into a precisely developed therapy.
The whole body is reflected in the foot. Stimulating the reflex zones harmonizes organ activity, relaxes the psyche and strengthens the immune system. In addition, the entire organism is detoxified and tense muscles are loosened.
This is a specific pressure technique that works on precisely defined reflex zones on the foot. The impulses generated release tension and strengthen the body's own healing powers.Manual lymphatic drainage with KEP
Manual lymphatic drainage is a special massage technique that can be used to eliminate lymph congestion in the tissue.
In general, it is a very relaxing, decongestive and generally pain-relieving therapy. The lymph vessels and lymph nodes are stimulated and the lymph, a protein-rich and sluggish fluid, is made to flow using special, carefully applied and rhythmic massage techniques. The lymphatic system is to be understood as a "secondary drain" to the venous system, which is connected to the blood circulation. This vascular system is not only responsible for optimal drainage, decongestion and purification, but is also a carrier of the entire defense system of our organism.
MLD has the task of supporting or activating the body's lymphatic system, bypassing disturbed drainage areas and clearing new drainage paths. In addition, purification and detoxification processes are set in motion.
- Breast amputations
- Radiation
- Lymph node removal (secondary, i.e. acquired lymphoedema)
- in the case of congenital drainage disorders, such as too large, small or few/no lymph channels (primary, i.e. congenital lymphoedema)
- venous drainage disorders
Most of the conditions mentioned above require long-term therapy.
This treatment method also proves effective for:- Swelling after injuries (traumatic damage)
- Surgeries
- General weakness of the immune system
- Migraine
- Ulcer of the lower leg (ulcus cruris)
- Constipation (constipation)
Manual lymphatic drainage includes a
"Kcomplete Pphysical E decongestion therapy" = KPE, which means:
- Body care
- Exercise
- Manual lymphatic drainage
- Bandage
CPE consists of two phases. In phase 1, the best possible result is achieved in terms of reducing swelling.
Phase 2 is then used to maintain this result and to further improve any fibrosis and sclerosis that may be present.
Lymphatic drainage without a bandage is only a half-working massage!
Connective tissue massage (according to E. Dicke)
Connective tissue massage is the manual manipulation of the body's surface, in particular the skin/subcutaneous tissue, subcutaneous tissue/fascia and muscles through mechanical stretching stimuli using a specific pulling, pushing and stroking technique.
The therapeutic goal is to achieve a local and general effect. Locally, a reflex effect is achieved via vegetative pathways, segmentally a spasmolysis (cramp relief) in functional diseases with the involvement of motor and sensory pathways of the central nervous system.
Generally, a vegetative harmonization is aimed for.
The connective tissue massage can be used to influence deeper tissue structures and even the internal organs from the skin and subcutaneous tissue. This usually results in a long-lasting reddening of the skin (due to the strong stimulation of blood circulation), a sensation of warmth and a reduction in tension in the deeper layers of tissue. This form of therapy is usually very painful at the beginning.
Indicated for:- Diseases of the musculoskeletal system such as joint diseases, muscular rheumatism, contractures, scars
- Neurological diseases (Parkinson's, MS, polyneuropathies, migraines, etc.)
- Diseases of the internal organs (lungs, gastrointestinal disorders, liver, kidneys, etc.)
- General circulatory disorders
- hormonal disorders
