Gasthof zum Bad

We welcome you to the Gasthof zum Bad - a time-honored country inn in the Bernese Seeland, located on the edge of the Bucheggberg, with a wood-fired kitchen and its own spring.

In our inn we serve home-style cooking with many farm specialties such as Metzgete in autumn or our Emmental weeks. Many of the products we use come from our own farm or from farms in the region wherever possible. In all cases, our food is fresh and of first-class quality as well as healthy and balanced. In keeping with the historical background of the building, in addition to our modern kitchen heated with electricity and gas, we also have a wood-burning stove.

Enjoy our meat cuisine, but also our vegetarian dishes, we only offer fish to order. To round off a good meal or as a fine snack, you can enjoy home-made dessert creations such as fresh strawberry tarts in summer and apple tartlets in winter.
