When Willi Baumann founded the locksmith's shop in 1963 as a one-man business in rented simple premises on Esslingerstrasse, he produced general locksmith work for his newly acquired clientele.

In 1977, the now modern premises at Eichbüelstrasse 39 were completed and occupied.

In January 2003, almost forty years after it was founded, the company was transformed into a family-owned public limited company.

Today, W. Baumann Schlosserei / Metallbau AG is managed by son René Baumann, who has been active in all areas of the business since 1988. Founder Willi Baumann supports him in the office.

The company employs 3 - 4 people and trains 1 - 2 apprentices.

The work program includes general locksmith work, from simple handrails to modern railings. This work can also be carried out in chrome steel on request. Repairs of any kind are gladly carried out.

In the metal construction sector, windows, doors and shop window systems as well as entire entrance sections made of aluminum are our specialty.

Winter gardens are planned, designed and installed by our company from A to Z.

Since 1999, all CAD workshop plans have been drawn by René Baumann - making us even more flexible.

Great importance is attached to the fulfillment of special customer requests.
