Brief description

Our home care service, with its qualified, motivated, and continuously improving staff, offers those in need and their families quality of life, daily well-being, healthcare, and end-of-life care, respecting individual needs.

We also offer an innovative service that promotes the independence of elderly people and those with bio-psycho-social difficulties in order to prevent institutionalization.

Support, assistance, and care are combined in an interdisciplinary manner to focus on collaboration and the relationship between healthcare professionals, patients, and their families.

Internursing has over 100 professional staff, including nurses, geriatric assistants, social and healthcare workers, care assistants, healthcare workers, domestic helpers, and caregivers, all carefully selected to ensure high-quality services.

The service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It can supplement basic Spitex services, personalizing them with tailored private care services.

• Spitex assistance is provided on medical prescription and nursing assessment; it takes care of the client's primary needs and is recognized by all Swiss health insurance companies under the compulsory basic insurance (LaMal).
• Private assistance extends and complements Spitex services with home help and domestic services that are not covered by compulsory insurance but are covered by supplementary insurance or directly by the client or their family.

 

Professional teams

• General care team: provides care for elderly, sick, injured, disabled, or convalescent people.

•          psychiatric team: provides care to users with mental health issues;
the psychiatric nurse who manages the care must respond appropriately to specific care needs, providing highly complex interventions in close collaboration with their team and the network services involved.

• Palliative care team: provides care to seriously ill patients; the patient and their family can better enjoy the fullness of their emotional relationships and familiarity with their usual living environment. The palliative care team ensures dignified support for the patient and actively collaborates with the doctor and/or network of local associations (Hospice, Associazione Triangolo, etc.).

Our care philosophy is to assist the person, whether healthy or sick, in order to recover optimal health and continuously improve their state of health.

According to Internursing, caring for a person means first and foremost respecting, stimulating, and valuing the unfolding of their existence.

If the other person is accepted in their uniqueness, the caregiver must necessarily start from the uniqueness of the person to whom they are providing care. This will entail an attitude of attentiveness to the other person, of acceptance, listening, and unconditional openness.

We are also committed to optimizing the resources available in the patient's living environment in order to contain the healthcare costs of the user and their family.

We prioritize the recovery and/or maintenance of the independence of the person being cared for in carrying out everyday activities.

It is our moral responsibility to work to achieve the well-being of the user and therefore not to harm their health and autonomy.
Every decision is made together with the user and their family in order to optimize the search for solutions and treatments suitable for the user by carefully assessing the situation.
Sometimes the home care process imposes limitations on us. We are committed to accepting these limitations and collaborating with other healthcare professionals and facilities in order to maintain the continuity and quality of care.
