Today's family business, F. Duttweiler AG, was founded in 1932 by Fritz Duttweiler as a sole proprietorship. In 1965, the sole proprietorship was converted into a family-owned corporation and his son Gian Adolf Duttweiler took over the management. He expanded the business into a modern and efficient building services company. In 1997, his two sons, Gian Andrea and Reto Duttweiler, took over the operational management of the company. Gian Andrea Duttweiler ran the company from 2004 to 2022, before handing over the operational management to Reto Meng and Andri Fanoni in 2023. Together with our approximately 60 employees, we are able to offer comprehensive services. Since our founding over 90 years ago, we have been enabling young professionals to complete their training with us.

Building plumbing:

In our modern building plumbing workshop, we carry out all plumbing work and metal roofing, from single-family homes to large buildings. We also manufacture ornaments and decorative pieces according to any requirements.

With a federally certified master tinsmith, three tinsmith foremen with federal certificates, and well-trained employees, we are one of the best-trained construction tinsmith companies in the canton of Graubünden.

This enables us to offer apprenticeships to many young people.

Roofing:

Our roofing department carries out all sealing and covering work on the building envelope.

With a building envelope construction manager with a federal certificate of proficiency, who became Swiss champion in the field of pitched roofs in 2009, and various trained roofers, we also have a wealth of expertise in this area.

We are also the right people to contact when it comes to roof maintenance. We clean roofs, replace defective roofing materials, and can safely carry out various tasks with our lifting platform.

Lightning protection systems:
We install all external lightning protection systems in accordance with SEV standards to ensure the safety of your building.

Facades:

Our facade professionals insulate and clad your building according to your wishes.

We process sandwich elements and offer you rear-ventilated facade systems with various types of cladding, from metal to fiber cement.

Plumbing installations:

Our sanitary department carries out all installations in single-family and multi-family homes, as well as hotels, industrial facilities, and swimming pools.

With a federally certified plumber, a chief sanitary engineer with a federal certificate, and three sanitary planners, our project management team is very well staffed. This enables us to respond to all customer requests and carry them out to their complete satisfaction.

In addition to the usual service work on your home installations, we also carry out repair and inspection work on FABAR coffee machines.

Utility lines:
With our long-standing employees, we carry out pressure pipes for turbines in all approved materials in addition to conventional utility lines.
