With a CFC in cabinetmaking, Hugues Chessex developed solid woodworking skills, particularly while working in furniture restoration.

As a cabinetmaker, he learned early on to work meticulously, to pay attention to detail and to deliver precise work with a high quality rendering.

Hugues Chessex has a total of 25 years' professional experience, 22 of which he spent with a joinery company where he held the position of workshop manager.

A self-employed since 2000, he operates in both private residential sectors and professional environments. Indeed, he has worked for many years in partnership with Geneva University Hospitals (H.U.G.), C.F.F., Swisscom, La Poste, banks and hotels.

Working methods and values

In general, we visit the customer's premises to draw up a free estimate at no extra cost.

Not being draftsmen, we work with architects, whose plans serve as the basis for our work.

Our work is carried out with respect for the environment and the ideology of sustainable development: we sort materials, favor sustainable applications and avoid waste wherever possible. What's more, we scrupulously check the provenance of the materials we use and ensure that they are certified with the FSC label (materials from renewable forests).
