Alterszentrum Breite / Haus Wiesli und Steig

The Breite retirement home is located in the attractive Breite district of Schaffhausen. The two buildings, Steig and Wiesli, have beautifully maintained grounds with a biotope, which are ideal for relaxing on sunny days and can be used for walks. A bus operated by the municipal transport company runs to the city every 10 minutes from the nearby bus stop.

We provide a comfortable home and care, support, and assistance based on normalcy for 135 elderly and vulnerable residents of the city of Schaffhausen.

Various types of accommodation are available:

-       Beautiful single rooms with shower/WC, with or without balcony

- Twin rooms for people who are very dependent on care and have personality changes.

You can furnish all single rooms with your own furniture. A nursing bed and a nursing bedside table are provided by the home. All rooms have parquet flooring and underfloor heating. For safety reasons, carpets are not permitted in the rooms.

You will receive a key for your room. This key also fits the entrance door, which is locked at night for security reasons. You can also use it to open your basement storage unit and your mailbox.

The diverse common areas offer plenty of space for individual needs.
