Wine seminar and viticulture course
This seminar is a particularly popular way to become familiar with viticulture and to work in the vineyard yourself. Under the expert guidance of Bernhard Müller (winegrower, mayor of Thayngen, and project manager of the GVS winery), participants cultivate and care for an acre of Pinot Noir (approx. 50 vines) in the Thayngen vineyard—from pruning in the spring to harvesting, from pressing to bottling with specially created, personalized labels. The pressing and tasting course takes place in December. The course concludes with a comparative tasting in June of the following year.
