The Ortho-Tec specialist store for orthopaedic footwear technology and made-to-measure shoes has been around for more than 35 years. Adrian Stroia took over the company as managing director in 2005. We are happy to serve you in our store in the middle of Solothurn's old town at Hauptgasse 32.

In addition to our range of handmade orthopaedic custom-made shoes, orthoses and insoles, you will also find a large selection of comfort shoes, shoes for insoles and special brand shoes. We are also happy to customize standard shoes.

We produce custom-made special shoes in our own workshop. This work requires a high level of expertise. Adrian Stroia brings this to the table as a federally certified master orthopaedic shoemaker. Ortho-Tec is one of the few providers to be certified by the IV disability insurance. Ortho-Tec must meet the strict requirements of the IV so that IV invoicing is possible.
Adrian Stroia always keeps his specialist knowledge up to date through regular further training from the Swiss Association for Orthopaedic Shoe Technology. After all, producing custom-made orthopaedic shoes is a major challenge, as you have to know and take into account the customer's physical requirements precisely.
