Elderly people who decide to move into the AZW independently or in consultation with their relatives are primarily welcome as guests. The retirement center deliberately distances itself from the concept of an "administrative home." We provide our guests with needs-based services in the areas of hospitality, care/support, counseling, culture, and gastronomy.

Residents organize their stay at the AZW according to their personal needs, ideas, and preferences. Services and assistance can be requested at any time within the scope of our capabilities. As service recipients, residents have the absolute right to criticize and complain.

The democratically elected residents' council and relatives' council ensure and promote the right to have a say and to shape the center.

• Comprehensive counseling services in the psychosocial and gerontological fields for residents, relatives, and outsiders
• Conducting planned, regular location and progress meetings with residents and relatives
• High standard in the qualitative and quantitative staffing plan for nursing and care
