General information

The water supply cooperative of the municipalities of Aeschi and Spiez was founded in 1901 for the purpose of supplying the population and businesses of the municipalities of Aeschi and Spiez with drinking and industrial water and today has around 300 cooperative members. Any person who owns land in the supply area can become a member.

The cooperative's supreme body is the general meeting of members, which takes place every year in the first half of the year. Among other things, it is responsible for electing the Executive Board.

The Executive Board constitutes itself and manages the cooperative's business. It oversees the execution of construction work, prepares the business of the Annual General Meeting, implements its resolutions and is responsible for orderly business and accounting. It represents the cooperative externally.

The Board of Directors elects a competent, full-time management team. This manages the business of the WVG in accordance with the specifications.
