Access Physio is a physiotherapy practice. Its vocation is to promote health and well-being. The team is made up of 5 people, each with their own specializations. The practice also has a classroom offering wellness and fitness activities, as well as a treatment room for massages.

Our physiotherapists offer specific treatments tailored to various types of rehabilitation: neurology, geriatrics, orthopedics, traumatology, rheumatology, orthopedics and sports medicine.

We are committed to restoring, improving or maintaining the physical functions of patients disrupted by pain, stiffness and other dysfunctions. State-of-the-art equipment enables our team of physiotherapists to best meet each patient's needs.

Working philosophy

The practice has been designed so that most patients starting therapy practice medical fitness at some point during treatment. The main aim being to offer care through both passive in-cabin and active (fitness) therapy.

The therapy work is a progression work adapted according to the patient's condition. To this end, continuous monitoring and correction is ensured by the therapist. It involves not only strengthening, but also direct or indirect stabilization with a view to better body awareness and improved statics.

This is why we also offer our patients the possibility of complementing their prescription with personalized follow-up (coaching and work program). As the body and mind are intimately linked we also offer wellness activities such as yoga, massage or relaxation.

General physiotherapy

The different stages of physio-therapy treatment: 

• examining the patient, establishing a physiotherapeutic diagnosis,

First, the physiotherapist listens carefully to the patient describing the history of his illness (anamnesis). Next, he examines him using specific tests and measurements (physical assessment). The anamnesis and physical check-up constitute the patient's examination. Based on the results of the examination, the physiotherapist establishes a physiotherapeutic diagnosis. Together with the patient (and possibly relatives or other caregivers), he or she sets the treatment goals, and then plans the treatment.

Access Physio also offers a home service if this has been requested by the attending physician. Also, we offer pediatric and sports physiotherapy, as well as preventive services such as ergonomics, back school, abdominal gymnastics.

Sports physiotherapy

According to the IOC definition, sports physiotherapy is a discipline that forms an integral part of sports medicine. Its growing importance in both top-level and mass sport is mainly linked to the demands and constraints of modern, competitive sport.

Sports physiotherapy is:

• the promotion of healthy physical and sporting activity among athletes of all ages;

• knowledge of different sports and their biomechanical and psychological constraints;

• techniques for the care of sports-related injuries and lesions;

• preventive measures, recovery and lifestyle hygiene for the athlete;

• functional re-education, rehabilitation and return to training or competition;

• prevention and fight against doping;

• as well as scientific research in the fields of sports physiotherapy.

The sports physiotherapist maintains a privileged relationship with the athlete. They are often called upon to intervene on the front line in the event of injury. He represents the "transmission belt" between the sports physician, the trainer and the athlete. As such, he often becomes the athlete's confidant, echoing his doubts, fears, hopes, joys or disappointments.
