About Landi-Metzg

Landi-Metzg has been in Stäfa for 40 years. Until 1992, it was run by the Landi Stäfa-Männedorf cooperative itself. It has been leased to us since fall 1992. In 1996, a new butcher's shop was built with a sales area, self-service display case, production rooms, cold storage, and storage room. In 2009, the butcher's shop and production rooms were expanded with a storage room. We are members of the Swiss Butchers' Association and Metzger Qualität. This means that we voluntarily have our products tested in a laboratory. We also undergo voluntary operational inspections and receive advice from experts. In our production, we process meat from IP and organic farms in the Stäfa, Zurich Oberland, Bern region, and Central Switzerland. Slaughtering takes place at the Hinwil regional slaughterhouse. We source many premium cuts from colleagues in Central Switzerland, Toggenburg, and the Bernese Oberland.
