Grotto America
Our history
There were 30,000 Ticinese who emigrated to North America "California" from 1849 to 1918.
The Grotto "GR8" America was the rendezvous where caravans on their way to Genoa and then set sail across the Atlantic Ocean waited. It was thus christened Grotto to America in 1890.
Our cuisine
Our cuisine focuses on offering traditional dishes with an innovative twist, mainly using all the good local products from Canton Ticino. We collaborate a lot with small producers close to us, from the Maggia Valley to the Onsernone Valley, thus supporting the small realities that definitely guarantee true "home" quality.
