École de danse Neptune

The Neptune dance school was founded in 2003. It is run by Vanessa Costanzo, who conveys her genuine enjoyment of teaching every day. The school supports dance education. Its membership has grown from 40 to 370. Children are accepted from the age of 3 and share classes in a spirit of mutual respect, joy, good humor, and creativity.

The Neptune school promotes the creation of events through workshops with well-known and specialized people from the world of dance from all over Europe. It offers the organization of one-off events such as local events, shows, street performances, support for humanitarian work, etc.

ACTIVITIES

Neptune School's mission is to provide a meeting place for all artists passionate about dance and the performing arts in general. It mainly teaches hip hop dance, but also dancehall, breakdancing, Afro House, abstract, contemporary, pole dancing, pole flow and sport, commercial hip hop, girly style, heels, personal development, jazz, commercial and old school.

Neptune School has 16 teachers and one qualified substitute. The teachers are certified in their respective disciplines.

Once a year, the school stages a performance for its students, giving them the opportunity to showcase their work and gain stage experience.

Internships and workshops are organized during school vacations and weekends to allow outsiders to come and try out the disciplines taught at Neptune for a few days.

The school participates in Swiss and international hip hop championships. Students compete in solo, duo, and group categories and achieve excellent results.

Title: Swiss Champion 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2022, 2023, 2024 Romandy Champions, Vaud Champions and Vice Champions.

Participation: European and World Championships in Holland, Poland, Macedonia, and Las Vegas in 2010, 2011, 2013, 2016, 2022, 2023, and 2024.

In 2017 and 2024, 4th place in the IDO Show Dance/Modern Jazz Championships.

3rd place in Switzerland in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.

Neptune works in collaboration with Vanessa Costanzo's femmesproject artistic movement and her company, The Neptunes Company.
