About us

There are three branches of the Haug family in Weiningen. Two of them are winegrowing families. We are the one "from Wiesetäli." Our farm is idyllically located by the village pond with a beautiful view of Zurich's Üetliberg and the Glarus Alps. In addition to winegrowing, we run a mixed farm with 60 animals and cultivate 50 hectares of land.

Whether you want to celebrate your wedding reception, birthday, company event, or club party on our farm, we can provide you with our location and expertise. Our barn is ideal for events for up to 100 people, providing wonderful shade when the sun is shining and a roof over your head when it rains.

Every year on Mother's Day, the second Sunday in May, we hold our farm festival. With live music, our own wine, and cold platters. We have always been very lucky with the weather in recent years. Saint Peter must be a wine connoisseur. You can also taste our wines at many other events, such as the Rebblüetefäscht (vine blossom festival).
