Description
A warm welcome
Situated in beautiful, natural surroundings, the home offers older people and those in need of care activity, lifestyle, healthcare, culinary delights and individual support. The guiding principle is: self-determined living with as much support as sensible and desired.
The Regionales Alterszentrum Tannzapfenland cooperative was created through the merger of the Regionales Pflegeheim Tannzapfenland cooperative (in operation since January 1979) and the Alterswohnheim Rebenacker Münchwilen cooperative (in operation since June 1979). We have expanded our offering with retirement apartments (in operation since May 2010) and a sheltered housing group (in operation since November 2016)The care home with its attractive single and double rooms, cosy living areas and public cafeteria was modernized in 2018. The rooms for activation were also enlarged and the office areas were renovated.
The construction of 15 new two-room and 2 three-room apartments is currently in full swing. We look forward to moving into them in summer 2020.
Our philosophy
The human being is at the center.(Erich Honcker)
With each other and for each other are the guiding principles of our institution. In our partnership-based care, we focus on people and treat them with respect and dignity.
Our goals are to create a high quality of life for our residents and a place where they can meet in an open and respectful atmosphere. Our concept is geared towards this with needs- and demand-oriented services and a range of rooms that provide individual areas for living together.
The community should be specifically promoted through shared experiences. Residents who prefer peace and quiet will find plenty of opportunities to retreat throughout the site. All residents should be able to find their own personal living space that allows them to age with dignity.
