The company was founded in 1959 by Richi Schmidmeister and was transformed into Schmidmeister Fischer AG based in Wettswil in 2002 with the takeover by Lucia Weber-Schmidmeister and Roland Fischer.

For over 50 years the name Schmidmeister has stood for quality and great personal commitment in the construction industry in the Säuliamt and surrounding area.
