Person

Following my business baccalaureate at the Zurich Oberland cantonal school in 1985, I completed a two-year all-round banking internship at the branch of a major Swiss bank in Wetzikon.
During this time, I also completed a longer period of military service.

From 1987 to 1992, I studied law at the University of Zurich.

In 1993/1994, I worked as an auditor and associate legal secretary at the District Court of Hinwil.

In the fall of 1995, after passing the  examination, I received the certificate of competence to practice law from the High Court of the Canton of Zurich. Immediately afterwards, I joined the corporate legal department of a major Swiss bank in Zurich.

In 1998, I left this position to spend time abroad and write a dissertation entitled "Interzession - Kreditsicherung im Interesse des beherrschenden Aktionärs und des Konzerns". I was awarded my doctorate in December 2000.

Since August 1999, I have been working as an independent lawyer, initially in Gossau ZH and Zurich.
In 2001, I opened my law firm in Jona SG.

Since 2012, the two office addresses have been united at the new office address in Wetzikon.

Since 2018, I have been a part-time Justice of the Peace for the municipalities of Gossau ZH and Grüningen.
 

I am a member of the Bar Association of the Canton of Zurich and the Swiss Bar Association.
I am registered in the Bar Register of the Canton of Zurich.
