In my general practice, I work as a lawyer in an advisory and litigation capacity, primarily in the following areas:

Person

After graduating from the Kantonsschule Zürcher Oberland with a business diploma in 1985, I completed a two-year all-round banking internship at the Wetzikon branch of a major Swiss bank.
This period also included a longer period of military service.

From 1987 to 1992, I studied law at the University of Zurich.

In 1993/1994, I worked as an auditor and assistant legal secretary at the Hinwil District Court.

In the fall of 1995, after passing the exam, I received my certificate of competence for the legal profession from the High Court of the Canton of Zurich. Immediately afterwards, I joined the corporate legal department of a major Swiss bank in Zurich.

In 1998, I resigned from this position in order to spend time abroad and write a dissertation entitled "Intercession – Credit Protection in the Interests of the Controlling Shareholder and the Group." I received my doctorate in December 2000.

Since August 1999, I have been working as an independent practicing lawyer, initially in Gossau ZH and Zurich.
In 2001, I opened my own law firm in Jona SG.

Since 2012, both office addresses have been combined at the new law firm address in Wetzikon.

Since 2018, I have been a part-time justice of the peace for the municipalities of Gossau ZH and Grüningen.
 

I am a member of the Bar Association of the Canton of Zurich and the Swiss Bar Association.
I am registered in the Zurich Bar Association's register of attorneys.
