The retirement and nursing home "Altershaamet Wilchingen" offers elderly people various living options that guarantee good living in old age according to their personal situation.

Places in retirement and nursing homes

The "Altershaamet Wilchingen" has been offering 26 retirement and nursing home places in four double rooms and 18 single rooms since 1994. All rooms have WC and showers as well as a balcony facing south-west. As the need for care increases, it is not necessary to move to a nursing ward; full care can be provided in all rooms.

Since June 1, 2010, the retirement home has been offering 12 places in the "Hofackergarten" residential group for the care of people suffering from dementia. The residential group is a separate department. As a new building, it is connected to the retirement home, but the residents live there as their own "family". There are 12 single rooms (all with WC and shower), a large living room and kitchen as well as a special garden for free walks in nature.

In both of the above-mentioned areas, we also offer vacation places to relieve the burden on family caregivers or for rehabilitation after a stay in hospital.

Since June 1, 2010, the "Altershaamet Wilchingen" foundation has also been renting out retirement apartments (2.5 and 3.5 rooms) in a prime residential location in Wilchingen. The newly built apartments meet the latest standards of age-appropriate living. Completely independent living is possible. The structural concept of the retirement apartments also makes it possible to make use of the services of the retirement and nursing home at any time and according to personal needs (meals, cleaning and laundry). The installed emergency call system guarantees security and enables care to be provided 24 hours a day.
