The Hotel-Motel Löwen in Wimmis was built around 1650. Otto and Rösli Moser acquired the Löwen in 1950 and handed it over to their son Charles and his wife Heidi Moser-Wendel in 1977. Since 2005, Barbara Meister-Moser has been running the business in the third generation. The Hotel-Motel Löwen in Wimmis is located right in the town center and just a few minutes' walk from public transport. It has a cozy restaurant, a harmonious "Gourmetstübli" and a large dining room for 80 people. The very quiet rooms in the motel all have a minibar, TV, safe and a wonderful little garden seating area with a view of the Niesen.
