Varilux
Do you have blurred vision when reading, when looking into the distance, or both? With high-quality progressive lenses from Varilux, even those with age-related long-sightedness can see clearly at any distance. In addition to standardized lenses, Varilux also offers personalized lenses. These are 100% tailored to your individual vision needs and adapted to your personal viewing habits. We have been authorized Varilux specialists for 45 years. Thanks to a measurement and testing method we developed ourselves, you can test the selected Varilux lenses at our store and immediately see the benefits.

With Visioffice, Essilor's sophisticated centering, measuring, and consultation process, it's easy to find the ideal lenses. The system measures your own eyecode in three dimensions and provides information about the inner eye rotation point and all wearing parameters. Digital images help to find the right frame. If you don't get used to Varilux, our exclusive success guarantee means you will receive other lenses free of charge, and any price difference will of course be refunded.

Glasses
To help you see better and look good, we work exclusively with top-quality materials and original products. The experienced Nielsen team is happy to take the time to help you. Choose from over 1,500 frames to find the perfect fit for you. Every vision problem requires the right lens. Our fitting methods are based on decades of experience. All glasses fitted and adjusted by us come with a 2-year satisfaction guarantee covering material and manufacturing defects. Damaged glasses will be repaired or replaced free of charge.

In addition, there is a three-month compatibility guarantee. If you cannot get used to the glasses, we will recheck your data free of charge and deliver new lenses. We will, of course, refund any price difference.

Also included is free service for glasses purchased from us – throughout their entire period of use. We clean, overhaul, and replace small parts such as screws or support plates free of charge.

Computer glasses / reading glasses
If you have poor eyesight, spend a lot of time at the computer or in the office, enjoy reading the newspaper or doing handicrafts, then reading glasses are the best choice for you. These near comfort lenses, also known as computer glasses, enable continuously sharp vision in the extended near range and offer a larger field of vision than progressive lenses.

Close-up comfort lenses are more comfortable than conventional reading glasses or Varilux lenses because you don't have to lift your head when looking at the screen and can remain relaxed. This means you can wear them for hours on end without any problems, even when cooking, ironing, or playing the piano with sheet music.

Reading glasses are not suitable for driving or watching TV because their corrections do not allow for sharp distance vision. At Nielsen Optik, you can try out computer glasses before you buy them. This is an exclusive service that shows you the numerous advantages at first glance.

Contact lenses
As practical as contact lenses are, let us advise you personally and provide you with detailed information. An initial consultation by telephone is always non-binding and free of charge. To ensure that contact lenses offer you the desired comfort, they must be properly and precisely fitted to your eyes. We will examine precisely which type of lens is suitable for you – whether hard or soft, daily disposable or permanent lenses. The actual fitting takes several sessions and ensures optimal visual acuity with maximum wearing comfort.

We recommend regular follow-up checks of your contact lenses to clarify compatibility and any discrepancies. Because your eyes deserve the best.
