What is breath and body therapy?
Breath and body therapy according to Middendorf makes the body permeable to the breathing movement. Muscle tension, posture and organs are positively influenced. We can breathe more freely and find our natural breathing and life rhythm.
Free-flowing breath has an effect on physical and mental well-being. We move in balance.
As a central life function, the breath influences body, soul and spirit. Thoughts, emotions and our physical state influence the flow, quality and rhythm of our breath. Like a transmitter, the breath picks up internal and external stimuli and reacts to mental and physical pressure. We recognize what takes our breath away or allows us to breathe freely and take a deep breath.
