BACKbAR

The Backbar in Zurich's Seefeld district was founded in 2001 by Line and Wolfram Schniepp. The bakery also offers a takeaway area and a small café bar. The Backbar team consists of a total of 14 employees.
 

Backbar uses regional and organic ingredients wherever possible. Backbar's products are based on the principles of naturalness. Therefore, no chemical additives are used. Fresh products are made daily in the in-house bakery according to our own recipes.

 

Since the beginning of the 19th century, a bakery with its own bakery has been located at the address of today's Backbar. In 2005, the Backbar was renovated and enlarged.

The bakery offers a wide selection of healthy breads. We bake with certified organic grains and flour. Specialties made from our own sourdough and spelt creations, which are processed into tasty breads and rolls through a long dough fermentation process. You will also find a wide range of products, from pretzels to raspberry tartlets.
