Craftsmanship. Tradition. Passion.
I consider myself fortunate that my profession allows me to combine these three words. All three are important to me; they flow seamlessly into one another.
My great-grandfather devoted himself to the craft of upholstery back in 1913. As a fourth-generation member of the family, I experience the fascination of the profession anew time and time again. First and foremost, it is the craftsmanship; learned and passed down. But tactile sensitivity, a trained eye for harmonious proportions, the drive for perfection, intuition, and the joy of beauty also contribute to the end product: whether curtains, upholstered furniture, or furniture covers. In collaboration with my sister, an experienced and skilled interior decorator, I carry out all the work in my own studios. I also pay attention to tradition when choosing restorers and fabric manufacturers; together, we focus entirely on the customer's wishes.
