The sauna is supported by a number of long-standing regular customers of the "IG Freunde der Wollishofer Sauna" (Friends of the Wollishofer Sauna Association ) and has been operating on a self-service basis since July 2015 . It is accessible to subscribers and guests who are familiar with the facilities and pay a single entry fee each time.

Authorized persons receive the code for a key safe after a personal meeting and signing a letter of intent. The entrance door remains closed as normal, with a key from the outside and a rotary knob from the inside.
