The Zimmereigenossenschaft Zürich (ZGZ) is a company with over a hundred years of history

We attach great importance to ecological building. ZGZ handles everything from small orders to major projects in the carpentry trade and timber construction. Multi-storey new buildings as well as centuries-old buildings in the city center are part of the carpentry's field of activity. The carpentry workshop handles all kinds of work, from superstructures to customer carpentry orders. ZGZ currently employs around 30 people.

The carpentry workshop handles all kinds of work, from superstructures to customer carpentry orders. Around 30 people are currently employed at ZGZ. 

Carpentry

From a six-storey residential building to the repair of a playground swing, we can handle it all. We are highly skilled in the renovation of old buildings and loft conversions, including insulation and vapor barriers. We also offer staircases and roof windows.

Outdoors, we build wooden facades and wooden gratings on balconies and terraces. We also have a carpentry team that carries out customer work.

Carpentry

In our joinery, we combine craftsmanship with creative energy. With our own customer carpenter, we can react flexibly and quickly to small repairs. We produce fitted wardrobes, furniture, reception cabinets and special shelving units to your specifications. We frequently manufacture house, apartment and room doors. Doors should not only be visually appealing, they should also provide effective protection against burglary, fire and noise.
