LED) are part of our everyday work. We also offer services relating to electrical heating, such as towel radiators, infrared heating and temperature control mats.

We can also offer you a wide range of services in the field of low voltage current. We can advise on, sell and install telephone and TV installations as well as IT installations and solar energy systems. We also take care of your security with alarm systems.

We are happy to realize your multimedia wishes. We can also offer networks, including fiber optic cables.

Electrical installations

We plan and / or install all electrical installations in new buildings, conversions or service contracts:

• Lighting installations with conventional individual switches or contactless using motion detectors

Lighting - LED

• The company Pfäffli AG focuses on energy efficiency. We are therefore increasingly using LEDs (light-emitting diodes) in the form of entire luminaires or in the form of light sources.
• A large proportion of the lighting can now be converted to LEDs, meaning that electricity consumption can easily be reduced by at least 50%. Maintenance costs can also be reduced, as the burning time of LED lights is approx. 15 - 20 times longer. 2,500 hours for a halogen light compared to 35,000 - 50,000 hours for LEDs.
The initially cold, rather bluish light of LEDs (4000 - 6000 Kelvin) is probably still available, but the range of light colors has increased massively. The color temperature of the diodes has now reached the level of halogen lights (2700 - 3200). This means that nothing stands in the way of this technology also being used for lighting in living spaces.Of course, you can also order all other luminaires and light sources from us, whether for outdoor lighting, home lighting or office lighting.Various LED lights are on display in our shop window in Zurich. Heaters

• We offer you various heating systems

• Underfloor heating or temperature control mats significantly increase comfort in residential properties without consuming a lot of energy. Using a timer, the floor is only heated when you really need it. This means there is no unnecessary waste of energy.
Gutter heating systems ensure the trouble-free operation of your property. By regulating the temperature and humidity, the function of the gutter is efficiently ensured.We are also happy to connect your heat pump, gas or oil heating system.The new infrared heaters are visually very appealing, available in various designs and very effective. These heaters can be installed anywhere, either specifically as a design element or almost invisibly. Surfaces made of glass, plastic or stone are available.We offer a range of sizes and services. Door intercom and video systems

• Classic intercom systems are just as much a part of our range as video intercoms. Various surface-mounted and flush-mounted models are available from us, and integration into a letterbox combination is also possible.
• Modern, specially equipped wireless telephones form the link between telephony and door communication. You can see who is standing in front of the door on the display of the radio telephone and can open it at the touch of a button.
• Nothing stands in the way of networking door intercom systems and video systems.

Alarm systems

• Pfäffli AG offers you various levels of security. Various alarm system options are available.
• Whether retrofitting an alarm system using wireless motion detectors, wireless glass breakage detectors and wireless window contacts or fixed wiring, there are many ways to easily secure your home.
• Alarm systems for higher demands including emergency buttons, safe locks and so-called "silent alarms" for informing the police can be discussed, advised and purchased from us.

Phone

As a Swisscom partner, Pfäffli AG creates complete telephone connections, from registering the line to programming the telephone set. A wide range of desk telephones and radio telephones, including the low-radiation Eco-plus mode, are available.

Extensions from analog (economy-line) to ISDN or conversions from ISDN to analog are carried out on a regular basis.

Professional subscriber switching systems (TVA) for up to 400 subscribers can be planned and installed by us. We are happy to offer you individual solutions with showcall on the computer and connections to Voice-over-IP (VoIP).

TV

The company Pfäffli AG installs satellite systems and conventional cable systems. Apartment buildings and single-family homes can be equipped in the same way, so nothing stands in the way of optimal TV enjoyment. Measurements including the creation of diagrams guarantee excellent quality.

Internet

We connect you to the Internet, whether via the telephone or TV network. You can register for an Internet connection directly with us; if you are connected to the Swisscom or Cablecom network, we can apply for registration directly in the fastest possible way.

We can also supply you with end devices such as routers or switches. We offer you a wide range of devices.

We also always stay up to date. We are very excited about cloud computing. Finally, it will be possible to use programs directly on your computer without the hassle of having to install them. Open the Internet browser and consume the program. The future could be that simple!

Fiber optics for networks

Installation of fiber optic cables, so-called optical fibers, is an area that is increasingly in demand. Faster Internet connections are placing ever greater demands on existing copper cables.

As the name suggests, fiber optic cables work with light. This is also referred to as the speed of light. It goes without saying that light is faster than electrical signals via a copper cable.

At the same time, the fiber optic cable is insensitive to electrical and magnetic fields. The only thing that needs to be considered is good installation, which we take for granted.

With fine fibres, a network with gigabit speed can be implemented without any problems. Since providers also install the supply lines right into the house, so-called FTTH (Fiber To The Home) installations can now also be created.

Networks

From simple, small networks with basic hardware to large IT racks, we offer you everything you need.

Simple point-to-point connections, smaller client-server networks or open-plan offices with countless workstations can be used to expand existing installations or create completely new projects.

Ideally, the entire network infrastructure is already set up in a new building using a multimedia distributor or a rack. This means that the network connections are already installed in every room.

Since a wide variety of applications can already be implemented via the network cable, a lot of attention should be paid to these installations. Devices and functions such as TV, telephone and Internet can be operated via a network connection socket.
