ECAP has been active in French-speaking Switzerland since 2007. The first regional office was opened in Lausanne in 2009 thanks to the implementation of a project in cooperation with the UNIA Vaud Trade union. As a result of the development of our activities, a second seat was inaugurated in Vevey in 2010 and we have further developed our field of activity and our educational programme. ECAP Vaud currently offers courses in Lausanne, La Chaux-de-Fond, Le Sentier, Neuchâtel, Nyon, Vevey and Yverdon-les-Bains. ECAP Vaud is an active member of the Coordination romande pour la formation de base des adultes (CRFBA) and the Vaud platform of French courses as a foreign language. ECAP Vaud has also signed a cooperation agreement with UNIA Vaud. ECAP Vaud is involved in several European adult education projects. ECAP Vaud has a small team of 40 teachers, working with enthusiasm and professionalism in an informal working environment. We give great importance to the exchange of views and mutual respect. ECAP Vaud offers a large variety of language courses and professional development courses. Our programme is very wide and allows you to choose the right course according to your level or profession: • Intensive French A1- B1 courses • Midweek courses A1- B2 courses • French writing and conversation courses • Professional French courses in the cleaning, construction and landscaping industry • Galateo, professional French course in the hotel and catering sector • Progredir, advanced training courses for migrant women employed in the cleaning sector as well as in hotels or restaurants (a joint project in cooperation with Unia) • TREM, job application courses for migrants • Computer courses The courses are open to everybody. The Residenza delle Rose has obtained ISO 9001 certification from SGS, which testifies to its commitment to excellence and continuous pursuit of quality in the services offered, observing the needs of its guests and ensuring high standards of care. INTEGRITY Our staff is constantly committed to understanding and meeting the needs of each resident, working in collaboration with them and their families to ensure a higher level of well-being and satisfaction. Our role goes beyond mere physical assistance by creating meaningful connections and promoting a sense of belonging and joy of living. Here, each resident is recognized as a unique and valuable individual, and this is the fundamental principle that guides every action and decision of our staff. EXCELLENCE Our residence benefits from the collaboration of nurses with various specializations such as: healthcare workers, care assistants recognized by the Swiss Red Cross, in compliance with the directives and controls of the hygiene office of the Canton of Grisons. Continuous training allows us to have specialized collaborators in palliative care, wound care, rehabilitation, and Alzheimer's care. Most healthcare collaborators have training in Gentle Care and Validation methods. Nursing service is guaranteed 24 hours a day, including weekends. Each guest is evaluated by nurses and the responsible doctor, who analyze their needs, providing correct and personalized assistance. TRANSPARENCY The Residenza delle Rose is committed to promoting a culture of transparency and open communication, based on active listening, respect for confidentiality, and involvement of stakeholders. When it comes to important decisions regarding the care and well-being of guests, the Residenza delle Rose is committed to involving stakeholders as much as possible.
