The St. Jodern Education and Seminar House, located in the heart of the Upper Valais, extends a warm welcome to you. The Bildungshaus St. Jodern is a place of encounter, discussion, further education, pause and refuelling. Use our infrastructure for your business or leisure stay in Visp and stay in one of our 33 single or double rooms. For families and groups, we have four multi-bed rooms with shared bathroom. Far from the hustle and bustle of the town, the St. Jodern Education and Seminar House is an oasis in the countryside, accessible by local bus or on foot. For organisers of parties, celebrations or seminars, we have three conference rooms, a meeting room, a large garden and a competent kitchen team in our repertoire. Our offer includes well-kept accommodation options, ideal for individual guests as well as for families and groups. All rooms are wheelchair accessible. In addition, two disabled WCs with shower and one disabled WC without shower are available. We offer 33 single/double rooms with shower/WC and mostly with balcony. These rooms are divided into the categories Standard without balcony, Standard with balcony and Comfort with balcony. In addition, we offer four multi-bed rooms, each with eight beds, WC and showers on each floor, which are ideal for larger groups and families. Our rooms are all equipped with bed linen, bath towels and shower gel. For allergy sufferers, we offer allergy-friendly bed linen on advance notice. Our double rooms are equipped with two separate single beds. On request, we can push these together. We are happy to spoil our hotel guests with a well-balanced breakfast buffet as well as our delicious three-course menus in half and full board. For holiday groups of 10 people or more, we organise special evenings such as raclette or barbecue evenings outside, with advance notice. We cater for our guests at lunchtime and in the evening with a three-course menu. Half-board or full-board catering is offered for groups of eight or more and only with advance reservation. We offer our guests a simple cuisine that is nevertheless very versatile. Our credo: with a maximum of passion and dedication. As we attach great importance to avoiding food waste, we only buy food for the registered guests. We also offer the perfect setting for family celebrations, wedding receptions, club events, company parties, birthday parties, etc. Our dining room can seat up to 140 people. Weather permitting, events can also be held outdoors. We will be happy to advise you on the composition of your desired menu. Für unser alljährliches Familienfest haben uns den Murtenhof ausgesucht. Das war eine sehr gute Wahl. Beratung im Vorfeld war toll, die Abwicklung der Reservation einfach und der Anlass selbst dann toll - schöne Terrasse für den Apéro und das Essen dann im Saal mit tollem Blick auf den Murtensee. Die Weine vom Mont Vully waren sehr köstlich. Feines Essen und sehr persönliche Bedienung haben zu einem vollen Genuss beigetragen

For decades, the Scudellate Ostello has been a reference point for school groups and groups of friends wishing to discover the Muggio Valley region. After major renovation work on the building, the hostel is now suitable for anyone who wants to enjoy a convivial stay, surrounded by nature and characterized by a modern and youthful structure. The Scudellate Ostello is the ideal place for groups and school parties. You can book the ostello for special occasions such as birthdays, parties, sports retreats, mountain schools, team-building trips and group travel. Depending on your needs and the number of participants, the Ostello team is ready to present you with individual offers. In the picturesque village of Scudellate, located in the upper Muggio Valley, is the Scudellate Ostello. The Ostello has recently been refurbished to accommodate families, couples, backpackers, groups of friends, school groups and work colleagues who want to enjoy a stay on the slopes of Monte Generoso. The surrounding landscape is suitable for all lovers of nature and local food and wine. From here, it is possible to set off on various excursions on foot and by mountain bike between Switzerland and Italy. A dense network of paths allows you to admire the typical flora and fauna of the region. The Osteria Manciana, located just a few meters away, is happy to delight guests of the Ostello, from breakfast to dinner, with typical regional dishes and drinks. The Ostello offers two types of rooms. There are three rooms with shared bathroom and shower and one private room with its own bathroom. On the first floor of the Ostello there is a brand-new terrace with a unique view of the valley. Thanks to the youthful and versatile furnishings, guests can spend time together, relax or enjoy the breathtaking view while enjoying a local aperitif. On the ground floor there is another terrace, but this is covered and suitable for activities even if the weather is not favorable. The common room is located on the ground floor. Here guests will have the opportunity to meet, get to know each other and share their stay. As well as for socializing, this area is suitable for relaxing, working or holding meetings. Board games, books and a guitar are at everyone’s disposal. There is also the possibility of listening to music both inside and outside the building. The building was built as the Scudellate school between 1907 and 1909 when it was inaugurated by the entire population of Scudellate and Erbonne. In fact, it initially housed the children of the two villages, which are still in Switzerland (Scudellate) and Italy (Erbonne). As many as 51 pupils between the ages of 6 and 14 attended the school every year. The infrastructure built by the local population (see original list of benefactors of 1909) remained available as a kindergarten and school from its creation in 1909 until 1965. In the upper Muggio Valley there were also other schools in Roncapiano and Muggiasca. From 1965 to 1982, the current Ostello was mainly used for local festivals, which were very popular with the population of the entire upper Muggio Valley and beyond. On 22 August 1982, the building was given a new lease of life, and after partial renovation, the Scudellate Ostello was opened and remained open all year round. From 1982 to 2019, the sole manager was Mr Guerino Piffaretti, who managed the facility in an exemplary manner, hosting several generations of young people from schools in the Mendrisiotto area and beyond. Since 2019 the infrastructure has been taken over by the Fondazione per la salvaguardia dell’alta Valle di Muggio (Foundation for the Protection of the Upper Muggio Valley), which has assembled the old facilities with a third adjacent building (former Cooperative), creating 24 beds in 4 rooms as well as new and separate toilets. The refectory and kitchen have also been modernized and made more usable not only for guests but also for meetings/presentations etc.. Finally, there has been built a magnificent terrace of approx. 35m2 offering a spectacular view over the entire Muggio Valley. On 23 July 2021, the new Ostello was inaugurated. It will be managed as part of the Albergo Diffuso of Monte Generoso with the adjacent Osteria Manciana, the Foresteria di Scudellate and the Capanna dell’Alpe Caviano.

The KiBA Tanz Akademie was founded in 1999 as a children's ballet - today's Tanzakademie rechter Zürichsee -, under the direction of Anna Simondi Imwinkelried. The school offers classical ballet and a contemporary dance programme to children from the age of 5 and teenagers. The school is recognised by dance suisse as a professional ballet school. In 2002 Anna Simondi opened the first Pilates studio in Meilen and the surrounding area. Classes are held in groups or as personal training. Management under Anna Simondi A graduate ballet dancer of the Teatro alla Scala di Milano, Anna Simondi danced for 12 years on the stages of the opera houses of Düsseldorf and Zurich (Zurich Ballet) and at countless guest venues as a soloist and semi-soloist. Later she was a soloist with the Movers in Zurich and with the Cathy Sharp Company, Basel. Today, the mother of two is a trained and certified Pilates contrology teacher, as well as the owner and director of TAnZ Akademie rechter Zürichsee GmbH. As a ballet master, she trained the top young athletes in rhythmic gymnastics at the Zurich Gymnastics Association ztv. She is the initiator, co-founder and training director of the swiss offspring ballet association. Every two years she directs and choreographs the TanZ Academy performances. Anna Simondi-Imwinkelried has contemporary and classical choreographies in her repertoire. During her active career she worked with internationally renowned choreographers such as: M. Béjart, R. Petit, H. Spoerli, P. Bortoluzzi, P. Wyss, I. Meassine, E. Walter, U. Scholz, B. Bienart, J. Craniko, L. Hoche, G. Balanchine, H. van Manen, V. Nijinsky, M. Ek, N.
