The company was founded in 1933 by Robert Nicolet in a shed in the center of the village of Cheiry. It was in 1947 that the company moved into its current premises. Active in Broye Friborg in the fields of carpentry, wood framing, renovation, roofing and carpentry, Nicolet Charpente SA remains a family business.
