For me as a physiotherapist, motor disorders mean that something is out of balance and needs to be brought back into natural equilibrium. The visible disorder is often just the tip of the iceberg. It may have resulted from a protective posture with which the animal tries to compensate for a problem. Underneath the symptom there may be a whole chain of blockages, muscle, joint or neurological problems.
