Centre Rochat/Residenz an der Schüss

Unterer Quai 45, 2502 Biel/Bienne
In the heart of life. A home with heart

Since 1989, Residenz an der Schüss – CENTRE ROCHAT has offered elderly people as well as those in need of assistance or care a friendly, family-like home – shaped by warmth, atmosphere and security. Our residence is a place where people do not simply live, but truly arrive. At the center of everything we do is the individual. With their personal history, habits, wishes and needs. Individualized care, respectful support and a warm, family atmosphere define daily life in our home. Our residents should not only feel well cared for – but truly at home. Particular attention is given to our high-quality dementia care unit . Specially trained professionals, structured routines and great empathy provide safety and orientation for those affected. Supporting and guiding family members with sensitivity is equally important to us – because dementia always affects loved ones as well. Meaningful activities and personal support in everyday life create moments of joy, structure and purpose. Culinary well-being also plays an important role: Fresh, balanced and tasty meals are an essential part of daily life and contribute greatly to our residents’ quality of life. Dining with us is more than nourishment – it is enjoyment, community and a feeling of home. Thanks to our prime central location in the heart of Biel/Bienne , Residenz an der Schüss – CENTRE ROCHAT is easily accessible and close to city life. Shops, doctors, public transport and meeting places are all nearby. Familiar routines can be maintained, and spontaneous visits from relatives are always possible – life outside remains close and connected. What truly defines us, however, are the small things: a kind word, time for a conversation, an attentive glance. For us, care means more than nursing – it is about quality of life, dignity and genuine humanity. A place to feel at ease. A place with heart. A home.
